We respond to those in need. We belive that powerful companies have to care about something more than growing their business and beating competitors. That's why TravelLine takes care of those who need help and support those who we love and respect. We don't believe charity is simply giving away money. That's why we get personally involved to make a difference in the lives of others.
At TravelLine, we maintain the accessibility service called Dver' v Mir («Door to the World».) A few thousand people with disabilities visit it daily. We gave the service a CMS, created a new design for it, and fine-tuned integration with social networks. We also made it easier to find information within the service.
TravelLine supports the Tepliy Dom (Warm Home) Orphanage together with Alexander, the priest of the local diocese. We regularly throw parties for the kids and take them on tours to interesting sites.
TravelLine regularly supports the Volga State University of Technology (VSUT) alumni basketball club. We help organize their tournaments. Many of the folks at TravelLine graduated from this school and love basketball, so to help out is really our duty.
Alexander Galochkin, the TravelLine CEO, is a member of Board of Trustees of Computer Science Department at VSUT. The Board of Trustees sponsors the VSUT students' preparation for competitions in programming.
Alexander Galochkin, TravelLine CEO and Roman Efremov, TravelLine Technical Director, teach at the Computer Science and system Programming Department. This initiative can also be called a social project: the managers work solely due to a call of duty and love for their profession. Talented programming students are often to be hired by TravelLine, where they gain solid experience and nice pay.
